(by mrsbheaven) I lost my dad 3 years ago to prostate cancer, terminal at time of diagnosis. This book is a wonderful tribute to a father,I wish I was eloquent enough to express the emotions like Ashley Hames does. Reading this unlocked some of my frustration, helplessness, guilt and other feelings that can be hard to articulate when they are so personal. It made me cry, smile, hurt and heal a bit more. You never get over the loss, but to my mind anything that makes living with it a bit easier is worth the read. This book made me feel NORMAL!
