Best Cam case for me!,
This review is from: Lowepro Toploader Zoom 45 AW - Black (Electronics)
I had one of these which lasted me about 2 1/2 years before the zip became badly unusable. The one zip kept coming off (just at the corner) quite soon and so I was using the other to open the top and then that finally went (came off the track so to speak). But I've looked around for cam cases and I don't like the buckle-clip tops especially when they open away from your body, they seem unsafe. So at this price I guess I just have to buy new when they go into disrepair (although Lowepro might guarantee if you live in the States). I should try to be more gentle and perhaps not zip up after every photo is taken and the camera put back. I did use it a lot - jungle hiking, off-road stuff, 9000 saved photos per year.
This definitely is the choice for me. It's well built, defends the camera, fits a big size (d80 with Sigma close up) and when the zip still works it is very secure. 5* when its not broken!
actually the 45W does NOT fit my D80 very well -well it does but the camera strap needs to be tucked down the front with the lens in order to zip it up -which is not convenient. It must have been a size 50 I had before, but I think they had a different name for it then so I thought the 45 was what I had....
