A quick, fun romp in the hay!,

This review is from: Manhunt (Mass Market Paperback)
If you like simple, fun, sexy romances, then this is the book for you. It's one of Janet Evanovitch's earlier books, written before her best selling Stephanie Plum series, and to some degree, you can tell. It lacks the depth and humour of her later books (not to mention the length), but to be fair, that's nit picking! Taken on it's own merits, this is a fun, screwball comedy romance, which once you pick up and start reading, you won't want to put down.
Enter Alexeandra Scott, city whizz kid, who decides to ditch Manhattan and her high paying job to move to the wilds of Canada in an effort to meet a "nice" man, get married and have kids. Only trouble is, she's bought her new home sight unseen - and to say it's rustic, is putting it mildy - it doesn't even have an indoor bathroom! Thankfully, the guy next door has indoor plumbing, and the fact he's cute doesn't hurt either.
Screwball romance at it's finest!
