Customer Review

on 11 January 2011
I have to say I was surprised to see several good reviews of this book. I was initially attracted to the label of SF Masterwork, the good reviews on the cover and the so called amazing twist ending, but frankly I found this book plodding and dull. The twist isn't really a twist, just a revelation of some really quite boring scientific information, and after that the book goes no where. My impulse about a quarter of the way through this book was to recycle it without finishing it, but I carried on reading because of the supposedly revelatory ending which isn't. Sorry folks this book is tedious garbage. It might have worked as a short story but it is dragged out way longer than it should be. Tiring and pointless is what this book is but I suppose it is original. The problem is that a book doesn't necessarily become good just because it is original. There's also no way that this is a Science Fiction Masterwork.
