Customer Review

on 10 December 2013
Alex Turner's solo version of Piledriver Waltz is possibly more beautiful than the re-worked version that can be heard on Arctic Monkey's "Suck It And See", because it seems to capture the youthful feel of the film it accompanies, Submarine. The Monkeys' version seems very mature and polished, as though the original was on an early album and the new version was re-recorded years later. Such is the talent of the band to have that affect.

Submarine is a brilliant EP as it is, but Piledriver Waltz is the icing on the cake and a Turner classic.
