I picked up one of these nifty little handsets last year, and was impressed - it is compact, simple, and functional. In short, it did everything that I asked of it.
In time some of its flaws became apparent - the touchscreen wasn't particularly good, for instance, and functionally it was a long way short of the iphone that my wife relentlessly tells me about. No matter, as this is intended to be a far simpler and cheaper product.
However the real reason for the single star review is that the phone became increasingly unreliable, often switching itself off or simply rejecting any phonecalls or messages until it had been switched off and then back on again. I like compact, simple, functional and cheap phones, but if they don't work as phones then they're no good to anybody.
