Customer Review

on 1 October 2009
Although this book was advertised as a paperback it was in fact a hardback printed on coarse paper and in the sort of type that must have been used in the C19. Obviously a reproduction of the original. That was the surprise! It was a very old history dealing, I think, mostly with gods and kings and written in a very old fashioned style. A curio and interesting in itself I expect, although I have yet to plough my way through it. I had hoped for something a little more modern. So if you are looking for a more recent history of Nepal with more about culture and politics, this book is not for you.
