Customer Review

on 24 April 2013
This book based on probably one of the most famous Dalek stories doesn't disappoint. Set in the 1960's, the script originally written in the late 1980's and the book just now the result is a slightly odd mish mash feel between the 60's, 80's and now. The book is identical to the script and the fill in narrative is good, if a little clumsy at times. I liked how the book describes how the Daleks 'feel' and when they die their death seems to be described in such a way it actually makes me feel a little sad. Liked the narrative around the characters but I would liked to have read a little more about their backgrounds and how they felt, emotionally to what was going on.
