This is such a brilliant concept for a show and I loved it when it was first broadcast back in 2005. It's a fantastic spoof 1970s/80s 'tribute' to Tomorrow's World headed by writer/performer Peter Serafinowicz heads as anchor, Peter Packard, assisted by writer/performer Robert Popper as 'pretty boy' Jack Morgan and with the female presenters Pealy Maghti and Pam Batchelor being played by Josie D'Arby and Olivia Coleman respectively.
There are six shows each with a different theme: music, health, sport, food and computers with the live final featuring HRH Sir Prince Charles. All of the episodes are laugh out loud funny and are ably assisted by a talented supporting cast of comedy performers such as Harry Enfield, Mark Heap, Matt Lucas, Sarah Alexander, David Mitchell and many others. My personal favourites include the food episode which included the instant casserole machine and computers with the first PC especially designed for women - the Petticoat 5, complete with extra long keys to accomodate long nails, a pop up mirror, a tissue dispenser and an atomiser!
It's worth mentioning that it also takes the mickey out of some of BBC's output during those decades with special theme nights. I loved the 'Antmass Eve' selection of programmes and 'St Frankenstein's Day'. It was a great show and it's such a shame it didn't return for a third series!
