I have always enjoyed Counting Crows from when I bought their first album many years ago. I remember them being great on Jules Holland too. They have been regular favourites on since. I have had a few "live" cd's from various bands too including a selection of Unplugged's. I could never see the point. Sure the Eric Clapton one is OK but have you heard MTV's Greatest Hits Unplugged? Some of it is passable but most of it sounds like pub bands singing cover versions or sounds almost like it does on the studio album. Really disappointing! And as for Nirvana unplugged. What is that all about? This is something else. This is what unplugged should be about. Its like Tom Petty meets Neil Young meets Counting Crows. You can't even recognise some songs to begin with. Soul. Spirit. Heart. Fantastic. This is not for Counting Crows fans. This is for people who like music! And two discs with repeated of tracks. Don't let that fool you either! The VH1 is great for rainy afternoons and those sombre days. The MTV live stint for when you want to smash your fender through the TV. Just buy it.
