This review is from: Aqua Sphere Vista Goggles (Sports)
The Aqua Sphere Kaiman goggles that I have are all fantastic, but these Vista Goggles were for me too bulky: there's a lot of flexible plastic stuff that makes the watertight fitting against the face, and although it worked I didn't like the feel of it. It was also inclined to lose that watertight fit if I was enjoying myself so much that I smiled.
The other disadvantage was, that compared with the Kaiman Goggles, peripheral vision was a little restricted, so the things I normally see when turning to breathe - my elbow coming out the water or the back corner of the pool ceiling - were obstructed by the big structure of the goggles. Similarly, if you wished to look down and back along under one's body to see how your feet were doing, this was no longer possible. The watertight shield raises the goggles away from the eyes but in so doing restricts the field of vision.
Like the Kaiman and Seal, they were easy to wear and easy to fit, and watertightness was instant - though, as I say, if your face is given to mobile expressiveness both Vista and Seal have been inclined to let in water when I used them. For me the Kaiman is perfect.
