A man's severe guilt from a past incident, manifests in chronic insomnia, causing analogous delusions. Superbly acted; the way we constantly see the tender, genuine side of poor Trevor, means that however tough things get, we're always on his side. The film is nicely crafted and doesn't give things away too early, even if you have a hunch over the purpose of "Ivan". The film ends in a satisfying, intelligent manner, leaving the viewer to ponder on human behaviour, instinct, and fate.
