5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic tablet, 4 Oct. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: neocore N10 10.1-inch Tablet PC(1.5 GHz Dual Core, Android 4.4, 1GB RAM, 10-point touch screen)
I'm a keen android user and did a lot of research before deciding on the Neocore device.

For the money it's an excellent tablet - it's well made, sturdy and has a good array of features.

The screen is bright and responsive and the capacitive display works well. The sound is good, the wireless is pretty powerful and picks up well and the battery gives a good 7-8 hours. I had it set up and synced with my Gmail / Google account within minutes so all of my apps from the Play store were there available for download.

Pound for pound its slicker and faster than a lot of tablets twice its price - if you want well made, easy to use tablet for games, movies and surfing the web then you really should take a look at this.

I have just bought this for my 78 year old mum. Can you help me please as a user, as I have queried things with Mango and their answer doesn't help me.

How do you do a backup? Not yet queried with Mango, but thought it should have been somewhere obvious. I can't see where you go on the system to do this.
Also, how do you add contacts? In Settings/ Apps/ All, although I can see the Contacts and Contacts Storage apps in the Manage System folder, there is no associated app icon to allow me to download this on to the home screen. Mango replied that ''this app is useful only when you have android phone , all contact in tablets are stored in apps , like skype , face book etc '' I disagree. My mother will not be using Skype, Facebook or Twitter. She will however want to be able to keep note of her contacts for whom she will send emails to. Since there are applications already installed in the settings folder, called Contacts and Contact Storage, I don't understand why there is not an associated app to physically type the Contact address details into. It seems very strange that there is nowhere on the tablet to enter Contact details. I have an iPad and it has a Contacts icon that allows me to enter contact details for people, even for those who don't have emails.
Many thanks for your help. Kate
