Bought for one specific technique-Unique to this book.,
This review is from: Memory Booster: Easy Techniques for Rapid Learning and a Better Memory (Paperback)
This review reflects my original reading of this book years ago.
There is one key technique that I bought the book again for. Telescopic thinking. This alone and the chapters highlighting direct application have been of enormous benefit for a specific task. I needed to get the general feel for the molecular structure of amino acids. You can do that easily using this technique.
It's not a colourful book, which nowadays, is a little old fashioned in memory literature. That is the only reason for knocking a star off. If you have a number of memory books, I'd still be surprised if the technique I discuss here are present in them. I have quite a few including Dominic O'Brian's book and this technique is not present.
That was the value of this little book to me. I hope this helps someone else :-).
