5.0 out of 5 stars Incredibad, 9 Mar. 2009
This review is from: Incredibad (Audio CD)
The most incredible album ever.

This is a cross between muse and radiohead.

'Jizzed in my pants' may sound very similar to 'Creep', and 'I'm on a boat' may sound like Muse's 'Plug in Baby' but they are still well worth listening too!

EPIC STUFF.

Nick Jones says:
Yeah, top review - you really hit the nail on the head, Matt "Matt". Music lovers, if you like Radiohead or Muse, or - even better - if you like BOTH, then you cannot fail to love this amazing indie classic. Some of the guitar hooks are also reminiscent of late Soundgarden too, especially the middle eight on the epic rock number, Dick In A Box. Matt "Matt", you describe this album as "incredible" - let me, if I may, go one further: this album is...INCREDIGOOD!

Matthew says:
I did forget just how much dick in a box does resemble Soundgarden. And I actually did just change my name because of you. Does that make me sad? Maybe.

Nick Jones says:
Don't be sad. Would it cheer you up if I changed my name too?

Matthew says:
yes, yes it would.

JUST MARRY EACH OTHER.

And for the record, the overriding influence on this album is clearly The Strokes, plus latter day Iggy Pop.

I listened to it again today, and I was sure I could hear quite heavy influence's from dragonforce.

Maybe you should all meet up and f*ck yourselves. Has nobody heard of Tenacious D?
