Customer Review

on 19 June 2000
Duran are back in style with an album that is all that is good about Duran. This is an album from a group at the top of their songwriting, crafting great melodies and catchy grooves into each song. You get the impression that Warren, Nick and Simon have agonised long and hard to create this masterpiece. It has certainly be worth the wait since Medazzaland. It is hard to pick any stand out tracks, but other than the single Someone else not me I would plump for the psychedelic Lava Lamp with its catchy guitar riff, Pop Trash Movie - the Duranned Blondie reject and the loud and proud apocolyptic Last Day on Earth. This is an astonishingly brilliant album that shows the 80's best can put the milleniums top acts in the shade ...
