Officially this knife is called the EcoLine 3.3713 (huntsman), basically you get the same tools as on the picture and as on any other Huntsman knife with same Swiss quality as on any other Victorinox EcoLine is basically and economy range of the most popular pocket knives from Victorinox Differences between standard glossy Victorinoxes and these Ecoline range (matt scales knives) knives: pros: -compared to glossy scales, this is NOT a scratch magnet, that could get scratches just by looking at it, on my Ecoline climber even after a year of use the scales still look like new -has a lot better grip in both dry or wet hands than glossy scales and you don't need to clean it up after every use from grease and fingerprints
cons: -the shield and cross logo can and will fade after some time as it is done differently from the standard scales and it makes it look cheaper and it actually makes it cheaper in price as it only is a silver imprint that is not protected in any way so it will wear off depending how often you use and carry it without a pouch, on my Ecoline climber it started to wear off significantly after a year of EDC -another difference is, that there is no slot for the straight pin beneath the corkscrew, not very important since the stainless victorinox pin is hard to get in UK and even if you can get it its too expensive, but you still can buy the micro screwdriver that fits in the corkscrew in good online outdoor shops
After a year of use of my Ecoline Climber i decided that i need a pocket knife for both EDC and outdoors so it has to have both a woodsaw and scissors and same scales as they have a good grip, this Huntsman hits the spot. Really cheap compared to the glossy standard Victorinox prices in high street shops. This is a perfect tool for everyday use and outdoors, the woodsaw works great and the scissors are the best you can get on a pocket tool and are amazing. Both blades are UK and most of the world carry legal, both under 3" and NON-locking slipjoints, razor sharp out of box and this steel is known to hold the edge for a long time and is very easy to maintain and stainless of course. The screwdrivers are precise and the small one on the tip of can opener also doubles as a phillips (cross head) screwdriver, the owl/reamer has a sharp edge and i never had a better tool to drill holes in a leather belt or wood than this one. I used the hook once to carry metal buckets full of water and it is a lot more comfortable and also safe than carry them in bare hand even its mainly designed for carrying parcels you can use it for example to pull tent pegs out of ground or lift and fix the chain on you bike back on the gear and many other uses. The wire stripper works perfectly, so do both can and bottle opener, the large screwdriver can also take some small prying jobs its thick and strong enough for that and won't bend. Cannot comment on the corkscrew as i never used it for opening bottles, but i use it very often to untie tight knots if i am not able to to do that because of my short fingernails and it works great for that.
If you are looking for a universal pocket tool that isn't too bulky for pocket carry, is light and still has a very good tool choice then you are on the right place. I don't know anyone who would be disappointed by a genuine swiss army knife, this is the best balanced knife from Victorinox compared the thickness and tool choice and Huntsman is one of the most popular models. Just a little note, the knife is darker in reality than on the picture and the logo has thicker lines
