The only reason that I purchased this CD is that I love "Kasmir" by Led Zeppelin, "November rain" by Gun's and Roses, "Live and Let Die" by Paul McCartney and also the few classical symphonies by Vivaldi, Beethoven, Bach and Grieg. As these tracks and composers were on the CD I thought I'd take a chance and give it a try. I'm glad I did, I love it all especially Vivaldi vs vertigo. Imagine Vivaldi being played alongside U2's Vertigo it surely could'nt work but believe me it does. David Garrett has captured mixing classical with rock and vice versa. His violin playing is outstanding even if it is sometimes drowned out by the cacophony of sound. He surely could'nt play any faster on "Asturias" by Albenizi, it is breathtaking. I've always thought that the music of the great composers is their version of rock music and if they had electronics it would probably sound something like David's "Rock Symphonies". If you like rock and classical music then I'm sure you will like this, I Did.
