3.0 out of 5 stars Do Not Buy This Version - It's Cut, 19 Sept. 2010
This review is from: Mrs. Doubtfire [DVD] [1994] (DVD)
This is a comedy marvel as has already been established. However, the Bridges restaurant scene where Daniel/Mrs Doubtfire makes suggestions to Stu about the intentions of the necklace is shortened by half. It doesn't make any sense, especially considering that the jackhammer and crabs speeches are present.

This is a good movie, but customers should not have to put up with such irresponsible and unwarranted cutting (I'm looking at you, Rocketman!).

Is this the family fun special edition you are reviewing ? If so that would explain the cuts but no excuses for making cuts if it is not the family edition.

It's not. I am reviewing the actual UK release, not the Family Fun special edition (which I never even knew existed) and it includes these cuts. As you say, inexcusable.
