This review is from: Lord of A Thousand Nights (Medievals) (Mass Market Paperback)
I picked up this book to read on the train & was delightfully surprised. It is a typical romance with a beautiful, wilfil lady, a handsome and dangerous knight, and a situation filled with intrigue. The Lady Reyna is at the mercy of the very handsome, but impoverished Ian of Guildford to save herself, her people and her late husband's reputation. It seems that she cannot achieve all of her aims without sacrificing her happiness. Enter Ian of Guildford, who is lovable but not easily trusted.
I really liked these characters. They were not perfect or overly sentimental. The book was well written, good fun & immensely enjoyable. Great escapism that brings a smile to your face, even when the train is delayed!
