I was looking for some speakers to replace the plastic Logitech things I had. The reviews of these FC330 where good so I bought some. They sound clean and natural. The bass is solid but not boxy or boomy, the midrange is clean but not 'in your face' and the treble is crisp but not harsh. For around £40 you won't find anything that will beat them, in fact treble the price and they are still good value. The construction is solid (all wood) and they look really good. I have tried them in a number of scenarios. 1: As PC speakers. 2: Connected to MP3 player 3: Connected to small TV. The excel in every aspect and sound a lot better than any of MP3 docking stations I've listened to, in fact if you don't own an iPod or just don't want to be stuck with a single purpose / iPod only docking station, then these are a very good substitute. They go very loud without distortion. and for the more discerning music fan are just the ticket. I will be investing in some more of these for other parts of the house. Also worth looking at are the Microlab Solo6.
