At long last, a DVD which looks at this very important event in a competent manner. Most other stuff focuses on Marie Antoniette. This starts off with the royal family, then moves on to look at the financial problems, the calling of the Estates General, the attack on the Bastille, the march on Versailles . . . It does concentrate quite a bit on Robespierre . . . and Napoleón only gets a brief mention at the end. But overall, well worth the money spent.
