This is Wilko's swan-song and it's a fitting tribute to his wonderful guitar playing. Dynamic as ever, he's backed up brilliantly by 70 year old Daltrey who, while delivering his lines slower than Lee Brilleaux in the original versions, quite naturally for an old 'un, adds a gravelly depth to most of the songs. There is some great harmonica playing and the drumming is also excellent. All in all, it sounds like a bunch of very good musicians having a great time and it's a pleasure to listen to. Proper R&B, to be played loud and often. God bless you Wilko.
