Tasty, and great for people in a rush in the morning, but it'll never replace breakfast for me! (including the nutrition info),

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
I've seen this advertised across London stations, and that - and the 'on the go' name - seem to aim it directly at people who are in a real rush in the mornings. And for them, I'd say this is a pretty good product. It's essentially a wheetabix milk shake of sorts, you can taste the milk, and the aftertaste definitely has a cereal-ness to it! For me, the strawberry flavouring here isn't particularly natural (it tastes like the strawberry puree it is), but that doesn't stop it slipping down. The milk and the slight texture (presumably the cereal part) make it more interesting than a juice. It claims to contain all the protein, energy and fibre of a wheetabix in milk, and I can't really argue with that.
I would imagine, that for someone a bit like my girlfriend, who rushes off into the busy city without a minute to spare, I'd have thought this might well be suitable. It'll give you an energy boost, plus a some fibre, protein and a few bits of vitamins. The only problem is that my girlfriend, like many health conscious people, in fact just grabs a piece of fruit and a black coffee in the morning. The idea of taking a tiny drink (250ml) which still contains 222kcal is a bit alien in her world. And that's kind of my problem too.
As a snack drink, 222kcal seems like quite a lot, when I could get some useful vitamins and fibre from an orange juice for less calories. And, for me, I love breakfast too much. I love it whether it's a lovely bowl of cereal, some toast, a cooked breakfast, or a bacon sandwich grabbed on the way to work. And for me there just isn't the fun in drinking this little bottle! And if it's not for breakfast
So, for people who want to get a boost of energy, plus some other bits and pieces (and it's all natural colours and flavours apparently) without stopping, this is a good product. But there are people who it won't really be appropriate for: for people who are calorie counting, or for those who like breakfast too much, it falls a little bit short!
