Customer Review

on December 31, 2013
I'm not sure what this book was intended to be, but it isn't what it says on the front.

It is little more than a set of unconnected mathematical anecdotes, with tenuous links to The Simpsons. So, if you like The Simpsons you are likely to be disappointed.

The maths is the kind of maths that you will have read about 100 times if you like this kind of thing. If I have to read about what an Erdos number is again, or how Google are named after a googol, I will poke my eyes out with a sharp stick. So, if you like popular maths books you are likely to be disappointed.

A shame, as with a bit more cohesion it could clearly have worked. Disappointing.
