Customer Review

This is a lovely comprehensive nursery rhyme book. It features: "Mary had a little lamb", "Jack and Jill", "Pat-a-cake, pat-a-cake", "Hey diddle, diddle", "Rock-a-bye, baby", "Little Bo-peep", "Baa, baa, black sheep", "Girls and Boys come out to play", "Sing a song of sixpence", "Hickory, dickory, dock", "Mary, mary, quite contrary", "Little miss muffet" and "Twinkle, twinkle, little star".

I bought the board book for my 1-year-old nephew. It's sturdy to withstand mauling and has very cute colourful pictures, with shiny and sparkly bits picked out making it very picture.

The only downside is that the CD is very disappointing. It's instrumental only, so it's pointless unless you sing along with it or the child can sing along with it. In which case, you could easily do without it! Also, as each tune only lasts as long as the one or two verse rhymes, they're only about 30 seconds each, so the whole CD is about 15 minutes long.

Still overall, I think it's a lovely book which should stand the test of time for a few years.
