I've been doing the 5:2 diet for 10 weeks now and have been cooking the same 4 dishes for dinner during that time, so was in desperate need for a bit of new inspiration, new recipes. This is a concise well laid out book with 100 recipes for the faster! And they're far from boring.. things like Tamarind & Lemongrass Beef and Crab & Noodle Asian Wraps have caught my eye. The recipes are organised by the number of calories in each portion, so you can plan your day around them. There are also very useful planners with 4 weeks worth of suggestions for what to eat on each fast day. There are ideas and calories for snacks, which I don't need as I've been just eating breakfast and dinner on a fast day, but as everyone does it differently, might be useful for other people.. The intro explains all those questions you have about how it all works and the book is small enough to have in your kitchen. A valuable resource in my new fasting life!
