I have read some other Spark books and they are quite variable in quality, with a few which are really worth reading and some which are run of the mill pap dressed up as 'literature'. This book has received some excellent reviews (the reviewers on the cover of this book have instantly gone into my 'do not trust' list of reviewers).
The story is inane. The characters one dimensional. The prose is clumsy and lazy.
There are other better Spark books, but all in all this is pretty standard for her.
