Bought one of these 17 months ago for my wife's laptop. She doesn't ever use it, so it's plugged into my desktop pc with a coaxial cable to my roof-mounted aerial. Windows 7 detects it and downloads and installs the drivers as a standard DVB-T stick. Media Centre picks up all the TV station and downloads the TV guide. What more could you want from such an inexpensive gadget. I'm very happy! The useless aerial, the un-needed driver CD and the so-called remote control were binned a long time ago! Summary for Windows 7 users ========================== 1. Organise a proper aerial connection - the supplied indoor aerial is no good. 2. Plug it into a USB port - Windows 7 will download and install DVB-T drivers. 3. Start Windows Media Centre (available on Win 7 Home Premium and up only). 4. Media Centre will prompt you to set up Live TV. 5. Put in your postcode, Media centre will download 'Play Ready', detect signals, download TV guide and search for TV channels. (takes about 10 minutes on my PC) 6. Ready to go!!
