Customer Review

on 6 September 2000
The topic of 'simplicity' shouldn't be an excuse for writing so minimalist that cohesion and sense is lost. The idea and premise of reducing complication in our lives is seductive and no doubt important. However, this book does not discuss or attempt to resolve issues raised, and there are few references or acknowledgements to similar work. The proposed principles are interesting, though the amount of repetition and contradiction throughout the book leaves me with the sense it was hurriedly written.
