I first bought this album back in 1997 when Limp Bizkit weren't even heard of in the U.K. This album totally blew me away, it was the album that started off a big trend that has given us the likes of papa roach, Kid rock and to a larger extent Korn (follow the leader album)the hard hitting rock sounds with the added turntable effects brought to you none other than DJ Lethal of the House of Pain fame. Given that this album was made by the Bizkit's when they were just a night club touring band it was recorded almost fully live and even the last song was recorded with improvisation. It still unleashes a hard hitting statement that Hard rock & rap can work together and on hearing most songs on this album such as Counterfeit, it can make even the most hard rock bands sound like little nursery rhymes. If you are a limp bizkit fan this is a must to have as is the other two albums. It is them at their most raw, live and out there, When I first heard it I was hooked, the next two albums became a nessecity to me. experience it.
