Customer Review

on 25 February 2012
I love this book. It manages to make reference to many of Dickens's books and characters and puts them in the context of the locations the author used. It is lavishly illustrated with photos of the places he wrote about, as they are now, which might sound odd but it somehow brings Dickens alive. It's written from a real enthusiast's viewpoint and makes you want to get out and about to the places described. One of many books about the great writer in his bicentennial year and one well worth getting.
