Customer Review

on 21 September 2013
Had the pleasure of meeting the author whilst walking my dogs on the Essex Coast. Interesting gentleman who talked about his life of flying (and other things). The book is a fascinating read as much has been written about the RAF during the Second World War but very little personal history about the immediate post war years. This book shows a little bit of those years where the military was being cut back and jets were coming into their own. Also highlights the large number of fatalities that occurred during this period.
Really great read
