Customer Review

#1 HALL OF FAMEon 4 May 2006
'This Isn't It' is a splendid single from the truly lovely debut LP 'Hearts & Unicorns', which is great stuff whether in its original version or reissued on Interscope with a bonus track.

'This Isn't It' sounds like a hit single where I reside and works as a great taste of its parent album - the album is packed full of catchy alt-pop, so in line with such wonders as 'Kevin is Gay', 'My Dick Sucks' and 'YFLMD' - the only problem being the titles!

The single comes with the video, which flips between a live performance and various rooms, with an emphasis on uber-vixen Annie Hardy. Many will buy it for the video - do Amazon sell Kleenex? The bonus tracks in the audio sense are more completist - a demo of 'Blunt Picket Fence' (I'm generally scared of demos after buying that awful Nirvana thing for 2 earth pounds) and a charming acoustic version of 'Pretty Little Neighbor.' All good stuff then...
