Essential read for everyone,
This review is from: In Sheep's Clothing: Understanding and Dealing with Manipulative People (Paperback)
This book shows how people can be agressive and manipulating when they appear sweet and charming. As humans live in modern times, it has become a habit of certain people to get what they want within the social norms, but at the cost of psychologically manipulating others.
This book provides framework to spot, understand and counteract these type of subtle but manipulative behaviours and maintain your psychological hygiene against others. Ever had an interaction with someone where everything seemed nice on surface, but you felt confused, used or sense something is out of place? Then this is a must read for you or your loved ones if they are close to such manipulative people and can not see it.
One additional benefit of the book is to determine how WE are manipulative towards others. Because of the culture we live in and role models around us, we are manipulative towards others to some extent, even though we do not see in our daily life.
It helped me solve my issues with my loved ones and showed how I hurt them without knowing. So, I recommend this book to everyone.
