Working Towards Peace of Mind,
This review is from: A Mother Apart: How to Let Go of Guilt and Find Happiness Living Apart from Your Child (Paperback)
When I purchased this book, I had no idea that it was a "Workbook" - At first I felt resentful, but as I read through the gentle and practical approach used by the author encouraged me to participate. I began working through the exercises - something that entailed going back (mentally) some thirty years. Over the days and weeks I have found it so cathartic and therapeutic, I wish I had known of its' existence twenty years ago. I have now sloughed off the guilt, shame and embarrassment of leaving my two children, and am dealing with the situation, as it is now. I would like to thank the author and contributors to this wonderful book, and would recommend it to any woman who finds herself in the position of either having to leave or having left children. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
