About this item
- Privacy Protection: Our window film provides excellent privacy protection features, ensuring that unwanted glances from passersby, curious neighbors are all cut off. Whether you live next to a garden or on a busy street, you no longer have to feel pressure about awkward moments. The window film also helps you block out things you don't want to see, such as cluttered dishes or passersby and birds that make your dog bark
- Keep it Bright and Beautiful: You don't have to choose between privacy and light – you can have both. Our privacy film for glass windows allows as much light as possible into your room, so you can still enjoy the sunshine and relax. Even in the bathroom, you no longer need to use thick, hard-to-clean shower curtains. Simply replace the middle area of your bathroom glass door with this frosted window film for both light and privacy
- Easy Installation: Say goodbye to fiddly film with chemical adhesives. Our frosted window film can be installed in just a few minutes with enough water. The adhesive-free design is good news for all tenants. Removal is even easier – just gently tear it off without leaving any annoying residue or damage to the window. Thanks to the principle of atmospheric pressure, you can reuse it multiple times after proper cleaning
- Installation Tips: Our window film can be cut into any shape and size. Before installation, please clean the window surface and edges without any dust, which can influence the sticking effect. Flattening the curly film in the early stage can also help it adhere better to the glass. During installation, please spray water on the surface of the window and the film itself for better attachment. After installation, please trim the margins and squeeze out air bubbles
- Versatile Protection: Our window film offers a range of benefits, including retaining warmth in the winter and keeping your home cool in the summer. It also blocks up to 96% of harmful UV rays, protecting your skin and preventing fading and aging of your furniture. Plus, it makes cleaning your windows a breeze, without any worry about your pets accidentally bumping into them.

rabbitgoo film provides privacy as well as softened sunlight. Balance light for the plants. A perfect alternative to heavy troublesome curtains.
Two Way Protection Day & Night
The opaque film gives complete privacy day and night. You will not see any shape on the other side unless it was within 1 inch near by the glass.
Pet friendly
No longer will your pet bump into clear glass while scurrying around.
The completely glue-free design can also add to their safety.
Remove the Clear Backing Film
Rubbing the corners, tapes on both sides, making a small cut with a sharp object can all help you peel off the backing film more easily.

- Easy To Remove, Qualified For Reusing: This frosted window film is easily removable without any glue residues and can be reused many times.
Classic Matt Look
For Home
For Office
-
Multifunctional in
Office
The brilliance of our window film is that, with the most classic style, it can perfectly match various scenes and achieve your various purposes.
- There are often colleagues walking outside the office door. Probing eyes or the shuttling of figures can easily affect the colleagues who are concentrating on the meeting. It also reduces the efficiency of the meeting.
-
Multifunctional in
Bathroom
- Even though living with family, most of people are still shy about things like the bathroom. If your bathroom still contains a large area of transparent glass, our window film privacy will be very suitable for blocking the line of sight while knowing whether there are people inside through the light.
-
Multifunctional in
Kitchen
- Kitchen glass is always particularly prone to oil stains, not to mention that some kitchens are surrounded by noisy streets or other people's residences. We neither want to affect others nor ourselves.
-
Multifunctional in
Room
- Our window films are still very artistic, and you can use them directly as a decoration to design your home into a unique look.
-
Multifunctional with
DIY
- Our products are also very suitable for cutting. Are you a creative master? Does your child have rich imagination? Let their imaginations run free with this product, and the whole home is a drawing paper.
Rabbitgoo Window Film Privacy Installation

The privacy only works for those inside if the peeper outside has brighter light than in the room and then they only see a reflection, this is usual during the day, but the reverse at night! So draw the blinds at night.
It reduces radiant heat input very significantly. This is why I bought it, and it works much better than the so-called e-coating on the glass (I paid for it, but is there any? Is this a common double-glazing con?) However, it is not as good as a proper dichroic film.
I needed to reduce the insolation through our glass doors, and while I bought these rolls a year ago I only applied them last week. It has made a big difference! Before film, inside floor temperature in the sun measured at 36°C, compared with the shaded part at 24°C. Later, when it had all cooled down again, I installed the film. Next day at the same time the bright part of the floor was 28°C and the shaded part 25°C. The step outside was 45°C.
I've also added it to some south facing bedroom windows. My pic shows a very thin line of unfiltered daylight down the trimmed edge of the film, in focus but the garden view is of course out of focus.
How it might be done if you are as OCD as me.
1. Clean the glass and the surrounds very carefully, removing all contaminants, especially traces of Windowlene or Flash, etc.
2. Check the scalpel/craft knife is very sharp.
3. Fill a clean spray bottle with water and a drop of Fairy liquid to work as a wetting agent. Use this solution and a clean old soft J-cloth for a final clean of the surface.
4. Move the Clear Film sticky tab to the side at the top, this will make peeling it off later much easier.
5. Stick some generous tabs of Sellotape on the film across the top, one each corner and one (or two) in the middle depending on how wide. This is so the film can be given a first position hanging in place from the frame by the sellotape; now it is easy to adjust and trim as necessary to make sure it covers all the glass with a small margin of about a centimetre at the sides, and maybe a bit more top and bottom.
6. Spray the glass generously, so it’s running with water.
7. Carefully begin peeling down the clear film from the sticky back of the silver film, keeping it all away from the glass. An assistant can help here, because now is also a good time to spray the back of the silver film, but it is possible for one person with a narrower glass.
8. About halfway through peeling, check the centre of the silver film is hanging true, and now is a good time to begin helping it to stick, but only with a light brush down the wetted centre, simply to control it.
9. Remove the rest of the clear film, paying attention to the centre and hanging true, and covering all the glass.
10. If it is in the correct position, only now begin to gently work the water out to the edges, radially from the centre, initially using another soft cloth. Use a squeegee only when the film is secure and wrinkle free, and always work towards the edges from the centre.
11. Once the film is stable, sellotape removed, most of the water excluded, and the edges are well worked into the corners and glazing seal, then trim it with the craft knife. Try and do it with a single firm pass along each edge (without damaging the rubber seal), ideally use a ruler to keep the film flat and guide the knife tip. Pay careful attention to the corners which are guaranteed to try and mess things up.
12. Finish off with the soft cloth, paying attention to the edges and seals.
13. Do not overwork the film; this can introduce wrinkles because it is more likely to stretch after a good soak.
14. Allow it to dry overnight, maybe a couple of days even, before succumbing to the temptation to tidy it up a bit more.

It does the job yet allows plenty of unfiltered natural light in.
Super easy to install, just misted the window with water, removed backing film, misted the smooth side of film, placed in window and smoothed bubbles out with a credit card.
Super thick heavy duty film, no creases or tears. Easy to trim with a Stanley blade.
Side that isn’t stuc to the window is textured slightly.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 October 2020Size Name: 44.5 x 200 cmColour Name: SilverVerified PurchaseI wanted to get rid of my net curtains to free up some space on the window sill as I had to have two layers of net curtains in order to have any privacy at all because of people walking past my front windows on a path that runs through my garden to access their homes.
I recently had new upvc windows fitted as I had previously had the original single pane wooden ones that were fitted when the property was built and they were rotten and making my home so cold at night whenever the temperature dropped. So I waited to buy this stuff until the new windows were fitted. I wasn’t sure as there were a few reviews saying how bad it was etc but I decided to give it a go, and I’m glad I did!!
I used an empty spray bottle which I filled with water and a dash of normal unscented fairy liquid (not sure if the type of soap made a difference though) I tried it on the kitchen window first as a test. I measured the window and added the extra 2cm around the edging as per the instructions and cut it to the length (although the width of the roll was enough to have just a little more than the 2cm but i was happy with that). I used a clean lint free cloth to clean the inside of the window first, they were brand new windows so wasn’t much to clean. Then I sprayed the glass from top the bottom with the soapy water. I will say before you take the protective layer off the mirror side of the film to lay it flat somewhere if you can near to the window you wish to apply it on, so it makes it easier when spraying before sticking to the window and to stop any creases happening. I then held the top two corners and positioned it on the window once again making sure I had extra all around the edge. I then started using the spatula with the felt side from the centre outwards. upwards and downwards, so it expelled the excess water and any air bubbles. The spatula and knife are from a well known company that sell sticky back vinyl which can be easily bought online, which I already had and it’s perfect for applying this as the felt side stops any scratches on the film which the instructions recommend not to use anything that could scratch the film. Once I was happy with the excess water and bubbles gone, I then used the stanley knife to cut down the edges. I will recommend you use a brand new blade for cutting so it doesnt snag or anything, as the new blade cut through the film like butter. When I got to each corner I made sure I used the spatula again to remove the excess soapy water then gently pushed it into the edges to great a crease line in the film. Then I lifted each corner of the film gently and as I could see the crease id created i used a pair of scissors to cut the excess along the crease line (make sure the scissors are sharp to and they cut straight) and then I used the spatula to smooth the film back down. If there was any slight excess I then went over it with the scalpel to neaten the edge, and it was done!
You can’t see in during the day, but you can see out from the inside. To all the people that left reviews that you can still see in when it’s dark outside when you have a light on inside, it’s not meant for that. Every single one of these mirror privacy films that are on the market are the same, and clearly states that you can still see in when you have a light on indoors when it’s dark outside. So you would still need blinds, or curtains over the window for when it gets dark outside, as the purpose of the film is privacy during the day and to lower the heat levels in a room that has direct sun (which obviously doesn’t come out at night)
It’s easy enough to work out which side is which ie. which is the mirrored side and which is the tinted side. So I’m a little bit unsure about the bad reviews that say you can still see in because you can’t. My nosey neighbours just see a reflection of themselves now when they walk past! 😄
My only issue was the lengths it came in, as you could only buy it in 200cm lengths but different widths. For my lounge window I had to buy one of the wider ones and then will cut it down the middle to do the two outer edge windows.
I will say if you’re putting it on a larger wider window then I would suggest a two person job to be able to remove the backing safely and to place it on the window to avoid creases. It really is great stuff and I’m not disappointed at all!!

Only thing is it’s a bit tricky to actually apply to the window and the tab that is supposed to separate the two layers so one sticks to the window doesn’t actually work. It just came off and it was a bit of a nightmare and now have the rest of the roll with no tab to peal off :S I somehow managed to cut and spray and attach to the window without pealing it and it evening started peeling away from the window so I peeled off the layer and reattached it (properly) to the window. So didn’t quite do it the right way but got there in the end

We have nice big windows but unfortunately the way the complex is built our windows are right in front of where our neighbors like to stand outside and hang out. They're out there a lot. As an introverted person this really stressed me out. It also frustrated me because I like a lot of natural light and I didn't feel safe having our blinds open. With the window film I can't even tell when they're outside now. You definitely can't see inside either.
I will say the process is a little time consuming. You need to clean the windows. You're going to be measuring the window film. You should use an exacto knife to easily cut the film. It does take a minute to separate the transparent backing every time you cut a piece. I bought two rolls of 30cm×400cm. That roughly fit four 26"x30" windows. I had some film left over but not a lot. Excellent purchase.

Size Name: 60 x 200 cmColour Name: SilverVerified PurchaseThis film is amazing, it helps keep my first floor cooler in the summer, during the day time noone can see in as long as it is bright out, and instructions were pretty straight forward. However, with all that said. this is not the easiest film to get onto your window if you are looking for a near perfect look. it will take 2 people to make it easier and the edges will be hard to do. aside from that. if you want some day time privacy while leaving your blinds up. these are a great option.

Size Name: 90 x 400 cmColour Name: SilverVerified PurchaseI bought this film because I needed the offered quantity for my living room windows after having already installed a Homein product on the upper level. This film barely mirrors the windows compared to the Homein film. Luckily they are on two different stories of the house but so it doesn't clash too much but I'm still disappointed in the lack of daytime privacy I was hoping this would procure. Does reduce heat penetration tho so not a complete waste.
