Wow! I've read every one of Joy's books (I think) and they have all been brilliant. This latest one is no exception. I already loved the characters, Nikki Galena, Joseph Easter, Dave Harris and all the gang, along with Nikki's mum Eve and her friends. Into this one comes new characters, the owner of a large house, two more friends of Eve's, a clairvoyant friend of Spooky and Bliss's and the landlady of The Hanged Man pub,
A terrible mass murderer is on the lose at the most difficult time in Greenborough – the weekend of the Darkest Greenborough festival. It would be like looking for a needle in a haystack, especially as they had no idea what the needle would look like.
As always, Joy Ellis weaves her magic and draws you in so you can't bear to be away from the story. I walked around with my kindle in my hand, read while I ate and even on the loo! I think she's very talented, her characters so believable that you feel like you're back with friends and her plots are exceptional. If I could give you ten stars, Ms Ellis, I would!
