Extremely comfortable (however you get what you pay for...)

After only one run of 2 miles it’s a bit early to say whether my transition into barefoot running is successful. That said I find these shoes extremely comfortable. I personally found that my correct size fits me perfectly rather than going half or even one size up. This may be different for other people though depending on how narrow wide your foot is. Mine fit like a glove and I experienced no adverse effects, albeit my run was short. For the price these seem to be perfect entry level minimalist running shoes. I may eventually try out Vibram, Merrel, Vevo etc but for this initial experiment it made sense to opt for an affordable yet decent quality shoe. Highly recommended.
Review update - After a promising start I noticed a small hole in the upper big toe covering today. 1 and a half months and 160 miles into my minimalist running experience. This is a shame because they are extremely comfortable however the quality of material used clearly leaves a lot to be desired. I have removed 2 stars for this. I don't care how 'cheap' the shoes are, I expect to get more than 160 miles before holes start appearing. Vibram 5 fingers it is then (you can get a pair for under £50 on Amazon UK).
