Probably more modes than necessary
1 March 2019
Brush is nice to use but took a bit of getting used to. So far I haven’t had to recharge it although a bit disappointed that there was no charger included in the box.
Because of the black handle it is quite difficult to see each of the settings which don’t show up well until you select one when it is illuminated blue. I also find it difficult to pull off the brush head to change the brush – especially with wet hands.
I’m sceptical about the need for 5 modes;
White: I can see no difference in the whitness of my teeth – as you age the enamel thins & shows the darker colour of the dentine beneath, which no amount of brushing will change.
Clean: Isn’t that what a toothbrush is supposed to do?
My teeth feel clean after brushing, but I guess only my next visit to the dentist will reveal how effective this is.
Sensitive: I don’t have sensitive teeth so doubt I’d ever use this setting.
Polish: A dental hygienist uses a small, soft rubber cup and polishing paste to polish teeth. As the Fairywill toothbrush doesn’t come with a rubber cup brush head, I’d question how this brush claims to achieve this?
Massage: I haven’t used this mode & am not sure I ever will, although incorporating it into your daily routine is supposed to prevent gingivitis and periodontitis.
