Top critical review
Not firm, nor orthopaedic. Large pocket springs.

I purchased this as we needed a new mattress for the spare room and both myself and partner suffer from bad backs, have had surgery etc and hoped it would be nice when we need to sleep on our own due to pain etc.
I am 5'10" 12.5st and partner 5'4" (dare not ask but slim). We have both been using this on and off for 2 months now and find it quite uncomfortable. We have a firm orthopaedic mattress in the main bed and this is perfect for the main but we sometimes need our own time (more me due to night shifts etc) and plumped for this based on reviews, chance to return after 100 nights and ticking all the boxes.
While a good price we have both found this mattress too soft and not firm enough, me more than the partner. I then noted that the pocket springs were rather large as I could feel them. So clearly not a decent layer of memory foam. The springs feel like they are about 2.5 to 3 inches in diameter, quite large and certainly noticeable. They also ping and prang around a fair bit when you move around on it so its not a quiet mattress.
So some quick math.
3 foot = 36 inches. / 3 = 12 (springs across width)
6 foot = 72 inches. / 3 = 24 (springs length)
multiply to get total count = 288 springs for the entire mattress.
I notice there is nothing anywhere on the information that says how many springs there are so this can be a guide.
My last issue with this was the sides of the mattress offer no support at all and this is where you notice the springs and softness the most. Every other mattress we have in the house (inc. the children's) all have decent side wall support and its really firm - this doesn't and you can easily roll into this area, and then slide off, or have that feeling of doing it.
I cannot tell the difference between the 3 or 9 zones it claims to have as all springs feel the same, I personally think this is a gimmick to claim its orthopaedic.
I have submitted a claim to the seller today asking for a refund under the 100 day guarantee and will update the results but ultimately if you want a reasonably priced mattress for a spare bed that maybe gets used once a week or for the odd guest over holiday periods etc then this would be suitable, its not suitable for sustained continued use in my opinion.
After contacting the seller, ADD ONE+, I was offered almost a full refund. While Amazon weren't interested, the seller did continue to make contact with me and we reached an agreement.
While my rating of the product still stands, the customer service from ADD ONE+ was good and above what they needed to provide.
