Ignore the reviews because I will be watching it for the third time tonight !

I cannot remember the last time, I went back to see a movie in the cinemas whilst it was still on release. I almost decided against it because of the poor reviews but I'm glad I didn't because this is THE movie of the year for me. I was never a Queen Fan just an admirer of a great group and some songs that I listened to when I was growing up. The chap that played Freddie deserves an Oscar and the guy that played Brian May was unbelievable; he looks and sounds just like him.
Oh but what a film. What a joy ! The absolute coup de grace is the Live Aid performance that literally had me in tears. The whole scene is recreated right down to the pepsi cups on the piano (watch the performance online and then see the movie and you will see what I mean). The 72,000 strong crowd who all synchronised their hands for the performance of Radio Gaga gave me goosebumps. I recall everyone talking about Queen's Live Aid performance in 1985 and the fact that it was a show stopper. I was caught up studying for my A Levels so missed it !!
Since its release last week, I have found myself becoming a true fan, watching interviews and other performances of this great band. Please please do not miss this movie. Rest in peace Freddie. You were a true showman.
