This book was a exactly what I was looking for these days: a likable and clever main protagonist, intriguing and compelling plot and plenty of twists and turns created by the psychological analysis psychiatrist Dr Sam has to work her way through in order to uncover her patients' and sister's unpredictable and strange behaviour. The only part of the story I wasn't quite sure about was the plausibility of the ending ... but thought it may well be intentional (no spoilers here :-) ) for future books in this brilliant new series!
I have now read all of Alison's thrillers and can highly recommend them. First class build up to the most unexpected ending when I actually responded with a loud "wow, I never expected that". These thrillers get more and more exciting and I cannot wait for the next one.
I have to say I think I've read all of A.J. Waines books now. This one with Sam Willerby the psych doctor is not bad at all. Overall A.J. work is very good. Every book is different for good twists and surprises. I will definitely buy more and recommend.
