I have not tried to find out why Ratt is not producing new stuff, but meanwhile their singer has made 2 excellent solo albums with lots of stuff that could clearly appear on a good new Ratt one. Familiar stuff but ... not quite, and that makes it exciting. Stephen has an incredible voice, recognizable among millions, and the song quality is very high, the band is tight around him, the sound excellent. I can find only one thing to regret: too short. Only 36 minutes. But not a single one of it boring. Can we ask for more? MUST HAVE.
Another great cd following on from last year's Smash. Stephen Pearcy (Ratt) and Erik Ferentinos (guitars) have grown into a great song writing team. This album rocks hard from start to finish and contributions of slide guitar on one of the more mellow tracks from Robbie Krieger (The Doors) add a great groove. Ratt/Pearcy fans will not be disappointed.
