This is more of a snapshot of a story, rather than a full blown, start to finish event. But, it was just enough to whet the appetite for more about this couple. And I was genuinely pleased to see that there is more to come about these two next year, as (frankly), I was so drawn to this couple that what we were gifted in this novella was simply insufficient to sate the desire to read more about them.
I hope that the next book is a more in depth stay with them. For the meantime, this was an enjoyable morsel.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
As part of Ang'dora Productions Review Crew I was able to read Belinda Boring’s Nowhere to Hide as an advance review copy.
What if you could read emotions or intentions? What if the person you fell in love with guarded their emotions so fiercely that you just can’t read them? In Havenwood Falls where no one is exactly as they seem, Sedona Mathews, Micah Westbrook and his niece Holly all discover that falling in love can be dangerous.
I thoroughly enjoyed this addition to the life of Havenwood Falls and will eagerly wait for Addicted, to follow the continuing story.
I really enjoyed this novella. It was great to get to know Sedona who has been mentioned in previous books in the series and find out more about her life. Micah is another great character, who is a newcomer to Havenwood Falls and comes with an air of mystery about him. The plot has plenty going on to keep things interesting, and I loved the mystery surrounding Micah that slowly unravels as the plot progresses. I'm looking forward to more from these characters! I recieved a review copy of this novella
OMG I was gutted when I got to the last page of this book and then found out I have to wait nearly a year for the next to find out what happens in Sedona , Micah and Holly’s story that just added to my dismay
It was hard to put the book down because the writing is so good that you get swept up in the love story of Micah and Sedona. A great read! My only regret is that the book ended too soon. But, fortunately, a sequel will follow. This is a great book to read on a rainy afternoon!
