I normally get my dog toys from Costco as they are good value and robust however, I always come home to the stuffing out of them being all over the floor. And if it's all over the floor then you can guarantee that there is some in the stomach as well. Hence my purchase of these. No stuffing. Milo loves them but they are not indestructible though. He got the squeakie things out of them in a day but still hasn't been able to rip them to shreds yet. Well made but a little on the expensive side.
I really wish I could get my two Pekingese sisters to play with toys, but it seems I'm doomed! I've tried tug ropes, tennis balls, squeaky bones, filled Kong's, plastic "tasty" bones and they're just not interested 😣
I bought these toys in the hope that as they are lapdogs, they might want to "baby" these wonderfully soft plush toys, but although I put them in their bed, they are always found on the floor next to them the next morning! The squeak on these toys isn't amazing, but that suits my nervous dogs, but I've tried to introduce them in different ways and no go. Shame, as these are really cute toys. They're not stuffed, the squeak being in their head, and the eyes are stiched design as opposed to googly eyes being glued on, but I suspect as these are just polyester fabric, if your dog is a chewer or likes rough and tumble, these probably won't last very long with your pet.
Our dogs love these, as you can see from the photos =0) this one wouldn't let have it back, played with it all night and mauled it to death. The others stood up to play time much better, awarding five stars as not a bad price for the set of three but have marked durability down as we've lost one already lol, but it depends on your dogs as to how well they're last, quite strongly made but if you have one like ours they will destroy them.
Each toy has a squeaker to the head and one to the tail and these work well, not stuffed with the theory you won't end up with stuffing everywhere. =0)
As an owner of an energetic Springer Spaniel who loves a good old chew on his toys I was pleasantly surprised that they've passed the initial durability test. They have none of the white fibre filling so our quite flat with a squeeze-n-squeak feature in the tail and head. The eyes are a stitched image so no plastic beads to be pulled off. So far he has refrained from trying to empty the contents and is quite content to amble around with them in his mouth then playing hide-n-squeak with them. They are a decent length as well, over 12". All in all a happy dog and a happy owner!
My Yorkie took an *instant* liking to these horrid looking dead animals! I figured she would and pleased to say I got it right.
She has had a good go at trying to kill them and there doesn’t appear to be any issues with the seams coming apart. There are squeakers at both ends which drive her nuts which is very funny if you can find a willing participant to squeak one of the toys from another side of the room, while you do.
Got these as one of my dogs is 3 years old on 10/01/19, He doesn't seem interested in them yet however the other dog who is smaller is much more interested, he likes the way it squeaks and likes to play when you wrestle him for control, there smaller than expected which is not an issue as both dogs are small so big enough for them, the squeakers are great but they work, the ones in the heads seem superior, i would say they are Raccoon, Fox and Beaver rather than Squirrel as never seen a brown Squirrel, All in all at least one dog likes them.
I have two dogs, one 9months old and the other 8years old and they both love these. There is a squeaker in the head and another in the tails which makes it highly amusing when they’re playing tug of war. It’s great to not have to pick up toy stuffing from everywhere. I normally find the stitching on dog toys to be rubbish but so far all 3 toys are still intact despite them having been ‘killed’ repeatedly. Also, standing on these in the night doesn’t hurt your feet!
My little Chihuahua pup absolutely goes wild for these toys. We can play tug-of-war, go fetch or he can spend ages throwing them about. They have squeakers at both ends and it's so funny to watch his face when I hold one and do a double squeak. He's tried to rip them apart but they are robust enough to withstand his ferocious lionesque attacks. Excellent doggy toys.
bought for my cavashon, he has a thing about carrying toys around and he really likes these, no filled fluffy things, he has a few different one, these are not huge though so not for bigger dog, defiantly a dinky dog toy, super soft, has squeakers inside too, will last a while since theres 3 of them, id buy em again.
