I like everything about these, I have gotten 3 pairs (different patterns of course). They are comfortable, not too hot yet they keep my feet warm and dry, they are easy to slip on and off yet they stay on nicely. There is a nice arch in them so walking is actually comfortable.
I'm used to trainers having a little reinforced area above the toes, so that pressure doesn't damage them. These don't have the same, and the upper is really thin and flexible, so that my toes show through. I am not sure how long these will last, as I'll only be using them for rainy days, so fingers X'd.
They are a little big, so I could have gotten away with a 4.5 instead of the standard 5 that I take in shoes and trainers, but there are no half sizes, apparently.
There's a fair bit of bounce in the soles, which have good grip. Feet do slide in the shoes, whether barefoot, with socks or tights on, so maybe an insole will help. Luckily, they're not too heavy so there's no drag on your foot and no sole pain. The back of the shoe is a little irritating as the lining keeps going inside as you put the shoe on, but it's easily sorted out.
