This is a good gin drink, not quite as strong as regular gins, and with a taste that reminds me of a cup of lemon or orange tea... a hint of fruitiness, a hint of tea, and a hint of gin. I drink it with tonic, for a really refreshing drink - great for the summer!
Bought a bottle just to have something a bit special at Christmas, it disappeared very quickly, partly due to my using it for medicinal reasons to ease cold symptoms. I bought another bottle in the new year and that,s gone too, with a little help from my son and son in law.... atishoo! Is that another cold coming?!?!
Superb. A little sharp on first taste (i drank it straight but i believe you can mix it with champagne or orange juice) but once that is done and dusted the rest goes down very smoothly. Lots of juicy flavours with a lovely aftertaste too. Recommended.
This gin is by far my favourite. I am not usually a gin lover and usually like to disguise the taste with a good amount of lime. However Sipsmith is delicious and tastes wonderful without loads of added flavour.
I purchased this as a gift and it went down very well. I was told it was almost as good as the home made stuff we have had for years which was truly delightful and nothing normally compares. A ringing endorsement.
This is a very drinkable Sloe gin. For me it's not to sweet and it has a definite taste of sloe with just the right amount of acidity. It also doesn't seem as rich if that's the right word as some homemade version but it's a good tipple and I will definitely buy again
