I am never disappointed with Keogh’s books. Her latest page turner is now different and I thoroughly enjoyed the nitty-gritty, twisting-turning plot that really kept me guessing until the very end. I love Keogh’s ability to create realistic and endearing characters, she builds on these characters throughout the whole series and where other authors may then struggle to continually develop them, Keogh is able to continuously bring them to life with real-life difficulties that you can relate to. Coupled with a great knack for storytelling, Death in Foxrock weaves together multiple storylines in a seamless turn of events and you’ll find yourself on the edge of your seat. I can’t recommend this book, and this series, high enough – one of my all-time favourites.
Another gripping crime thriller in the excellent Garda West series. Finding the badly decomposed body of a child in a discarded suitcase poses an extremely difficult case for the Gardai. Romance is in the air, as Kelly and Mike build on their relationship. Meanwhile, who is it who hates Kelly? Det. Garda Sgt. Mike West has more than one crime too solve. Highly recommended reading.
Once again I have not been disappointed with this author, a page turner, with several story lines, which stops you getting bored reading. I love the development of each of the characters and the twist that occurs in many of Valerie Keoghs' books, occurs in this novel also.A really good read and for any Irish readers a touch of reality with many of the local spots named around Dublin and further afield. would recommend and look forward to further books from this author.
Enjoyed the last one in this series but I think the way it ended could carry on for another one at least. And have to say just as Kelly decided to visit fiona it all clicked into place I then knew it was her that had been sending the cloned photos to Kelly and Mike. Also good about this one was Kelly's dilemma was kept separate from Mike's investigating.
I have really enjoyed these 4 books. Seeing the characters being fleshed out and also how things happen at the police station. They are not just dealing with 1 crime but having to deal with others at the same time. I would really like it if there were more books in this series, please?
Bought first book for 99p and, half-way through, had to buy the other three. Just like a box of chocolates, I promised myself that I would make my books last but, just like the chocolates, I devoured each book one after the other!!! Am so missing all the characters and just hoping that there will be more books in this excellent series.
I enjoyed this book as much as the others in the series its a little slower in pace than the previous books but did not detract from my enjoyment the story is well told and you don't guess too soon where its going and I look forward to more in the series.
