Miles better than you’d think for the money. Great value.

So let’s start by reminding you these are under 25 quid. I spent ages looking at reviews for bluetooth speakers, but the tough thing is that you can’t really make a definitive descision by a subjective review online. Found my self drifting in to a higher and higher price point to get a half decent product. Was close to buying the Beats X which are more like £120 but with only above average reviews.
Then someone recommend these (I remind you again that these are under £25!) so thought it was worth a punt.
The main thing you’ll be interested in is sound quality. For the money I was expecting much. I’ve been using the standard issue Apple earphones, which I know always get panned but I found ok for commuting, if a bit uncomfortable.
In comparison they are far better at noise canceling as they fit snuggly in ear. The first run of these sounded a bit closed and narrow, very different to the open landscape of the Apple ones- these are in ear buds and so put this down to the difference in where they sit in your ear.
VAVA are more of a jack-of-all-trades electronics company than audio specialist, so you can understand that sound quality may not be they’re forte, but these are by no means bad. As I’ve got used to them they’ve definitely improved and although not imaculated they have a nice rich base and are easily as good as the apple ones. And they’re under £25.
The second point to mention is connectivity. I run them off my laptop when working and my phone when commuting. I find that they struggle to swap between device sometimes and initially couldn’t get them to connect which was frustrating so contacted customer services to notify them of the issue. Then I read the instructions!! Note: if for any reason they don’t connect, do a restart by pressing the two volume buttons. The customer service guys were prompt with the same advice - problem solved. Find I do this whenever I swap between devices, which is only a minor inconvenience, whilst connecting and disconnecting to the same devices it’s absolutely fine. Again, they’re under £25!
The build quality is good and find them really comfortable. Wasn’t sure about the sports attachments but they do keep them in the ears.
The magnet to hold them together is a bit weak and have twice found them dangling precariously, so just keep you’re eyes pealed.
So they’re not perfect by any means but as you can tell the pros are amplified by the price point and the cons can be forgiven. For £25, give them a go. I love em.
